Mobility is an important part of everyone's daily lives. European GNSS, including EGNOS, is making everyone's life on the road easier by significantly reducing congestion and, consequently, CO2 pollution, improving the efficiency of road transportation through navigation, fleet management opportunities and satellite road traffic monitoring.

19 December 2016The ESCAPE project, jointly funded by the European Commission and GSA, aims to develop the first multi-constellation Galileo chipset receiver with multi-frequency capability specifically adapted to such road applications as autonomous vehicles.
21 November 2016Following the successful launch of four Galileo satellites, the Galileo constellation now has 18 satellites in orbit as it moves towards the declaration of Initial Services.
10 November 2016At this year’s ITS World Congress in Melbourne, Australia, the European GNSS Agency (GSA) demonstrated the added value that Galileo will bring to intelligent transport systems, starting with the declaration of Galileo Initial Services later this year.
